660th Post - Cigarette Ads of the Stars!

There was a time, boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, when commercials for cigarette companies were broadcast on television on radio. Today, you'd barely know cigarettes existed.

I don't smoke. Never have. Never will. But I find it interesting how many past stars used to shill for cigarette companies, sometimes in character from their tv shows!

I have a couple of Winston ads featuring stars from the Beverly Hillbillies for your amusement:

What are you telling me? The Flintstones did a cigarette commercial? How could that be?

And, if you're a doctor, you should smoke this brand?

Lastly, here's Lucille Ball with Desi flogging Philip Morris. That bellhop at the beginning was no child, by the way. Read about him here:

Hope you like 'em!

Kaff! Kaff!
