What other place on Earth is better to be on Good Friday other than the town of Pictou, followed by the cottage?We decided to check out the cottage today, last evening. We are very glad we went.
We left around 8:30 this morning, and arrived in Pictou around 10:15. Made excellent time.
We were going to have lunch at a restaurant called Sharon's Place, but it was too early for lunch, so we walked along the waterfront for a spell. We met the mayor of Pictou, who was out walking his dogs this morning. First name is Joe. He promised to check out this Blog. I hope he does, and that he likes it.
I took several pictures of the good Ship Hector. This is a beautiful tall ship that is a replica of the original Hector. The next post shows us at the cottage, along with a couple more pics of this beautiful town!
We can't wait to open up the cottage for another season. Another month to go!
