935th Post - CHNS Musings

Been spending time during my lunch hour looking through the online World War II exhibit that the Nova Scotia Archives launched this morning. Fascinating stuff. Seeing Halifax during that period of time is very interesting. I walk past these buildings today, and now it is a bit easier to imagine what they were like during the War.

Of particular note are the pictures from the old CHNS days. There are nearly 70 pics from the war of CHNS, back to when they were still in the Lord Nelson hotel to when they opened the Tobin Street studios in 1941, to the many and varied contests and musical shows they presented.
