I conducted another interview this evening. It is with a radio guy who has interviewed hundreds of other people. I was nervous as Hell. And, oddly enough, he was the one who contacted me for an interview. Imagine that. I just hope that the finished product doesn't suck. If it does, it's my fault.
As soon as I got home, I backed up the audio files and the pictures and video I shot.
One more day at work, and I'll be off for a week and a half. It will be the last vacation time I take this fiscal year. This time, I really do plan to use my computer to finish transcribing at least the D.H. interview. There is no reason why I shouldn't be able to do this.
Watching "Cougar Town" right now. The first episode was pretty damned good. I missed last week's. This one pretty much sucks.
Tomorrow's pay day. Costco tomorrow night. Mark Evanier calls all the free food samples they offer there, "Costco dim sum". I will, too. I have actually had meals there for free. I go up to one samples lady, take the cracker with french onion dip on it, walk to the next one, repeat the process, until I've gone through all of them. Then, I muss up my hair, take off my coat or something, and run the gauntlet a second time. Free meal, with only a marginal loss of dignity. Who needs food banks?
Well...
