Post 1083 - Things About Halifax Radio That I Like - Part One

I started thinking about things in Halifax radio that I like.  I wanted to list them.  But it would be boring just to write them out without any comment.  And I have so many things about Halifax radio that I like that to write about each one of them fairly would make for several really long posts.

I have come up with a solution.

Quite a few years ago, a talented artist named Fred Hembeck did a series of drawings of himself, 100 or so, that appeared on a single page of a newspaper called The Comics Buyer's Guide.  I loved how he did it: these self-caricatures, each one listing some comic or character or creator that he liked.  It resonated with me enough that, all these years later, I am trying something like that for this blog post.

Here are the first 10.  I have enough prepared for another post, and am still coming up with things I like about Halifax radio.  I will publish those posts over the next little while, but I am particularly interested in how you guys like this post.  I may branch out to list other things that I like.  Let me know.

Note that you can click on each image to see it in its full glory, in case you find the text a little small.

Note that these are in no particular order of preference.  It would be too hard to come up with a point-based scale to say that I like this thing more than any other.  Just be happy to know that I like this thing, this program, this person, on the radio, and listen as much to it, or him, or her as I can.

Enjoy!  And expect the next batch soon.
