I have been thinking about unsolved murders in Nova Scotia lately. I know I shouldn't, but I do.
One of my favourite websites is The Charley Project, which lists and discusses unsolved murders in the United States, going back nearly a century. I am not aware of a similar clearing house in Canada.
Anyway, I googled "Nova Scotia unsolved murders" just now and found this message board. It lists and discusses unsolved murders and missing persons cases in this province. I didn't realize there were so many of them.
I read through some of them just now and have this observation: People run away with crackpot theories all the time. They'll speculate openly on some imagine or perceived thing ("maybe he was mentally disturbed"), Right? You know what I mean. Things you can't prove or disprove to anyone's satisfaction. People will think what they want to think, and don't you dare let the facts get in the way of their theory.
Anyway, this is the only website I know of that lists all these cases. Check it out, after you make sure that your doors are locked and the alarm is set.
Stay warm, everybody!
