Last night, at the hockey game, as I was returning from the little Bevboy's room, I heard this song playing on the Metro Centre loudspeaker.
I knew there was this live version of the song from 1958 by the original artist, who went on to become the voice of the chipmunks in those stupid songs of the 1960's, and whose spin off films continue to appear.
Anyway, here's the song from the old Ed Sullivan Show. Enjoy the state-of-the-art special effects. No screaming women were injured during the making of this performance.
