There may not be any such thing as a free lunch, but there is a free dinner every once in a while.
My union local offered to take its members out for dinner tonight at a local Chinese restaurant. I don't say no to food, so I said yes.
Union business is union business, so I'll keep the details of the meeting to my lonesome. Nothing earthshaking, anyway.
Friday, I'm off work. I plan to be at the cottage for the weekend, and I'm sorely in need of a weekend there. Among other things, I want to finish transcribing another interview, and perhaps begin the next one, the last one I have in my queue.
After that, I'm not sure what will happen, as I have no more interviews booked. I have had several radio people tell me they're interested, but nobody's said yes, and agreed to a date to sit down with me.
About to try, again, to install puppeee linux on the netbook. Wish me luck. It's been singularly frustrating so far.
Have a good night.
