I'm lucky enough that my work pays for my internet connection. I had to buy the router for wireless connectivity, but that wasn't much money. If I want to use the internet while I'm at my mother's, I have to go to my sister's and hop on their network, drive around and hop on, or come to the Al Whittle Theatre or some such place to get a connection. The coffee is good, really good, at the Al Whittle, so I often come here. Nothing personal, Glenda.
3 days until vacation. I can hardly wait. Just have to attend some work training for those 3 days, and I'm good to go for 2.5 weeks of fun and sun, and spotty internet connectivity. Can't forget about that!
Anybody reading this go to the Black-Eyed Peas concert in Halifax last night? How about Ridgefest in Port Williams yesterday? We could certainly hear it yesterday. Mom was interested enough to make me drive slowly past the venue yesterday afternoon. Very, very nice to see that part of the province, of the Valley, be used for an outdoor concert venue. The environs are so beautiful that it is hard to imagine it not being used for such purposes. I hope it becomes an annual event.
Time to finish my coffee and go back to Halifax.
