Post 1370 - An Unexpected Surprise

Hello, gentle readers.

The second day of my course is behind me.  Three more to go.

I was checking the radiointerviews email address that is on the official Bevboy's Blog business card (yours, if you just send a comment to any blog post), and noted with delight an email from my new friend Paul Moore.

Paul was a frequent caller to Rick Howe's old Hotline show.  I'll never forget the time Rick hung up on him, probably the only time ever did that in the 10 years he hosted the show.

Anyway, Paul called me last Thursday night, just before I left to visit Mom for the weekend.  He called to tell me how much he had been enjoying the interviews with the radio folks and kept me on the phone for a good 15 minutes.  He promised to send me some cool stuff via email, and that email arrived this evening, complete with some interesting factoids about local radio history.

I will post those pics here in the next day or so.  I think you'll enjoy them.  I know I did.

More interviews are in the works, folks.  I will not stop doing them until the last radio broadcaster says no to me, and I don't see that happening any time soon.

Paul, thank again for sending me that email.  It came at a good time.
