This is a day late, but not a dollar short!
This is a special double shot, ladies and gentlemen. Friday was a crazy long day for me, since I got up at 5:30 in the morning and didn’t get to bed until 3:30 Saturday morning, 22 hours later. I kept telling myself that Jack Bauer did this year after year on “24”, so I had nothing to complain about.
Anyway, here I am at the dentist. The lovely Tasha is my hygienist. Turns out she knows some buddies of mine from work. She has been following the tie extravaganza on my facebook, and perhaps now she’ll check out the blog posts as well. Thanks for being a good sport, Tasha!
Hours later, I pulled a shift at Operation Red Nose, where I work every year. I thought there could be no better person to pose with other than Rudy, the official ORN mascot. I have played Rudy a couple of times and got to pose with some interesting luminaries. ORN is a worthwhile way to volunteer your time, so please consider giving your time to it in 2011. I know I will. I’m especially excited that ORN may be coming to the Annapolis Valley next year!
Four days to go in this year’s Christmas tie extravaganza. I hope you’re enjoying this year’s journey as much as I am.
