As I have explained before, Christmas this year doesn’t mean much to me at all. It will be my first Christmas without my father, at least not in the physical sense. He will always be with me. You know what I mean. Don’t make me say it.
In the home stretch of this year’s Christmas tie extravaganza. Driving home this evening, after having decided not to buy anything at Canadian Tire after all, we chanced upon this church. Patricia noticed the simple nativity scene, and we decided this would be worth a shot. After all, isn’t this what the season is all about?
Two days to go. Booked Thursday’s tie picture already. Wednesday? There are several possibilities.
See you tomorrow.
