You are looking at pictures of my betrothed, Patricia. Today, she did something that made me very proud. I was so excited about it, I got up at 6 o'clock this morning and drove back to the city from my mother's to see it, and take these and many other pictures.
Patricia had been growing her hair for ... 2 years or so? Something like that. She recently heard about the Children's Make-A-Wish foundation and its fund-raising initiative whereby you could donate your hair, and they would use that hair to make wigs for children who needed them.
In addition to donating her hair, Patricia raised about $150 in additional donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The only sucky part was, I took dozens of pictures. A security officer in the Halifax Shopping Centre became suspicious and challenged me on it. Apparently, you're not allowed to take pictures in the Halifax Shopping Centre. There were lots of pretty girls taking lots of pictures of each other, but Buddy challenged me. Go figure.
Patricia, thank you for doing this. You look pretty good as a butch. Ha ha. No. Coquettish. You look coquettish with the smaller hair. It will grow back.
I'm proud of you. Really, I am.
Now, get dinner ready and rub my feet. I've had a hard day.
