Made one last visit to the rental property this morning. Took many pictures and even shot some video. Said goodbye to the place around 10. Unless some miracle happens, I will never set foot in that place again. Not sure if I care. I think I don't.
Learned later on this morning that the meat market in Port Williams has officially closed. In its place will eventually be an outlet that prepares and sells fresh pasta. I'm not sure how that will go over, but am glad that it won't remain empty for long.
The programmable thermostat purchased for my mother last week, has been installed, mostly because of my brother-in-law. He has the knack for wiring that I just don't have yet. Give me time, Dad. I'm doing my best.
Anyway, the device works really well so far. We can tweak the programming as necessary.
A long day. Back to the city tomorrow. Back to work (and a Melissa Etheridge concert!) on Wednesday.
Yawn! Work will seem like a vacation after this weekend!
