Post 1691 - A Busy Sunday

I was up until 1 o'clock this morning.  I was restless, so I listened to some mp3's on that old computer which is running Puppy linux.  The machine ran fine for those couple of hours.  I will put the machine through its paces when I am up in the Valley again, after my vacation.

I hit the sack after that and rose about 8 hours later.  I ate something and then went outside to trim Mom's lawn.  I now have a second battery for the lawn trimmer, and it made a big difference.    A full hour+ of trimming and I was nearly done.

Visited my sister after lunch.  It was Glenda's birthday weekend, so we dropped off a gift for her.

I returned to the city after that.

I transcribed some more of the Dan Barton interview this evening.  I doubt if I will finish it before I go on vacation.  More about that in the next paragraph.

It has been a long day, but I take comfort in the fact that I only have 4 work days this week before a 2 week vacation.  I  need this vacation very much.  I am beat and need a chance to recharge my batteries at the cottage for that period of time.

Soon, my pet.  Soon.

See you tomorrow.
