We're back in the city.
We left the cottage just past 6:30. We arrived in the driveway around 8:50. That included a quick trip to get some gas.
The cats served as a kind of Greek chorus to us as I drove the car back to Halifax. One would meow reproachfully; then, the other would chime in. It was as if they were both criticizing my driving. I am hardly a candidate for "Canada's Worst Driver", guys. If you think you can do better, then go ahead. There's no way your paws can grasp the wheel and operate the gas and brake pedal at the same time. I'd like to see you try.
It was another restful weekend at the cottage. I got a bunch more pictures of the subject of an upcoming Bevboy's Blog interview and gently nagged him to finish vetting it for publication. He promised it would be ready soon. I hope so. I really think you'll like the interview.
Two interviews are in the can as it were. A third one is waiting to be transcribed. I will be book more interviews soon. This cottage industry of Bevboy's Blog interviews is starting to get away from me, and I will have to sit down soon and try to find a way to expedite this process before it consumes every waking, non-working moment of my life.
I guess that's it for tonight.
See you tomorrow.
