First of all, Happy Canadian Thanksgiving. I am not sure how many Americans will read this post, but Happy Columbus Day to you guys.
I am feeling much better today. I have slept more over the last 72 hours than a person has a right to. It is as is I managed to cram more sleep into my body than I should have had in a month. That's ok. It seems to have had a salubrious effect on me.
We watched some tv this afternoon. Did some housecleaning. Ate some Thanksgiving roast beef. This evening I watched the latest episode of season six of Dexter.
But the coolest thing that happened to me today is that I received a friend request from someone on Facebook this evening who wants to interview about my radio interviews. She is a student in town and works part-time at one of the stations. Her latest assignment is to interview a stranger, and I'm as strange as you can get. I have agreed to this. I am not sure if the interview will be a print one, or one that's broadcast at the NSCC campus only. When I find out, so will you.
I'm looking forward to this. I have interviewed quite a few of these radio folks over the last few years, and this is the first time the tables have been turned on me. I have had job interviews, of course, but nothing like this.
What do I wear? Should I floss my teeth first? Comb my hair? Get it cut? Buy a new suit? The mind boggles!
Of course, this will be much fodder for Bevboy's Blog. I don't waste a thing that goes on in my life.
And, also of course, as this interview leads to more interviews featuring me; and as they help me attain greater fame and fortune, I promise not to forget the people who put me there. I won't forget you, the Bevboy's Blog readers, who believed in me when I believed even more in myself.
See you tomorrow!
Bevboy
