Post 1842 - A Fruitful Day

For reasons I don't want to get into, mostly 'cuz they're boring, I didn't get to bed until 3:30 Saturday morning.  I got up a scant 6 hours or so later.  I napped briefly in the afternoon, but kept going, doing what I should be doing. until I decided to turn in around 8:30 Saturday night.  I didn't get up until 9 Sunday morning.

Today I did some laundry and, around noon time, went out to my mother's garage (which is a phrase I find very hard to type) and put fuel stabilizer in the lawn tractor there in and ran it for 20 minutes or so.  I removed the battery from said lawn tractor and took it into the house for warm, safe keeping for the Winter.

I talked to my mother for a little while.  She sheepishly asked me to pick up a couple of items for her, in a way that made me think it was my idea.  You have to see her in action to believe it.

I got those items and returned to the house.   It was Newbie's turn for my attention.  I couldn't find him.  Finally, I located him under Dad's old hospital bed.  In order to get to him, I would have to take the bed apart, piece by piece, so I did.  He gave up and wandered toward his carrier, dejected.

We returned to the city, arriving around 6 and in time for Patricia's supper.  I spent a delightful evening preparing stuff to toss out for recycling day on Tuesday, watched this week's The Good Wife, and showered and shaved and muffed and buffed and prepared for my work day tomorrow.

You're all caught up on my life.

Tell me about yours.

See  you tomorrow.
