It's Sunday night. I will be turning in shortly.
Today I transcribed about 18 minutes in the Shane Wilson interview. One audio file remains, but it is 47 minutes long. I will chip away at it over the next few days.
There are 2 cats in the house. Cindy, Patricia's kitty, has taken to peeing all over the place. Any article of clothing that ends up on the floor is fodder for her to wee wee on. It is becoming very trying for us. If you have any suggestions short of putting her down, send them my way via an update to this post.
A woman in my TM club is also a cat lover. Her ex-husband wasn't. One day, this cat pissed on the floor or scratched up a piece of furniture or something. When she got home from work that day, the cat wasn't there. When she asked her husband, he nonchalantly replied that he had taken the cat to the vet to be put down. Without telling her. I'd never do that to Patricia as I love cats as much as she does, but I'm sure you can appreciate that this indiscriminate peeing is a problem that we have to combat. Help!
Anyway, Patricia is feeling better, and I may not be coming down with a cold or flu after all. All good.
Newbie is just nuzzling up to me. He only pees where he is supposed to. Never seen him "go" where he shouldn't. Good kittie!
See you tomorrow.

My cat, Smokey, a DSH, went all psycho-kittie on us a number of years ago. We took him to the vet who said he was healthy but we insisted that he had changed. Changed into something that was unfriendly, belligerent and urinated in inappropriate places.
The vet said "Well, you never know what is going on in a cat's brain. Let's try Amitriptyline," which is a tricyclic antidepressant prescribed to humans.
To say it worked a miracle would be an understatement, Bev. I have my loving, happy, friendly, playful cat of old back. He is completely different from what he was at his worst. Hard to believe but true. The dosage is 10 mg once a day. Best investment I have ever made for Smokey! He is 16 years old and is curled up beside me as I type this, purring away!

Thanks, Ken. I have discussed your suggestion with Patricia, but she still blames Newbie.
Sniff!

Okay, I'm not going to get involved in that discussion, Bev. Good luck with that, Buddy!
And feel better soon!
