I didn't feel well at work today. I went in because I had to do some stuff at 4:30 for a client of ours that my fellow colleague couldn't do because he is out for a few days.
I have felt gradually worse throughout the evening. I will be turning in very soon, and it's not even 9:30 yet.
Too sick to write much about the bus strike in Halifax. I have tried to stay out of this discussion. I am in a union myself, and I don't want to be seen to be coming down hard on people who, to be fair, are working at the best job they'll ever have. Not putting down bus drivers. It is not an easy job, but it's not rocket science either.
But, this morning, the strikers prevented the trucks that would salt the Halifax roads from leaving their parking area. The potential consequence for this action could be devastating, and I hope they don't do something this stupid again. If they don't want any public sympathy at all, then perhaps they should block ambulances and fire trucks next.
I think Hitler said it best in the following video:
See you tomorrow.
