I have been taking pictures of Newbie and putting them up on my Facebook this evening. Within moments, comments started to flood in. I am starting to think that he is the star attraction in this household. I am a little miffed. A little bitter.
I am writing this blog post on my netbook. I have noticed that the battery on this machine, the one that came with it 3 years ago when I bought it used through kijiji, is finally starting to wane. I get perhaps an hour out of it now; it used to be a good 2 hours. I do have a spare battery for the machine, though. Don't worry.
I continue to get interesting comments from folks about my hair. I can't help it, folks. My hair is beautiful and gains beauty by the passing day. I have accepted this burden. You should, too.
Because I love you so much, here's a new picture of me, taken moments ago, using the netbook's webcam.
As you know, I have decided to take next week off work. I am looking forward to the break. There is much to be done, here in Halifax, at my mother's, and in my car. It will be a working vacation.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I should turn in. Long day tomorrow.
