As I mentioned before, Patricia is at the cottage this week. She has left me behind in Halifax. I am not exactly feeling sorry for myself, but I don't feel like doing anything either. I was going to do quite a bit today, but only ended up watching an episode of "Boss", and a movie called "Unknown", starring Liam Neeson. It wasn't nearly as good as the "Taken" movies, which are great fun.
(For what it's worth, my own "particular set of skills" have a lot to do with sleeping too much and drinking too much coffee and avoiding going to the gym.)
It has been a 4 day weekend. I am not sure where the time has gone. But I face the upcoming work week knowing that there are only 4 days in it. Saturday is Nocturne night, and Patricia will return from the cottage just in time to go with me to it.
What else? Newbie is down here with me in my home office, curled up in a cardboard box that once housed frozen chicken pieces. If I spent 50 bucks buying him a proper cat bed, he would never use it. He would just whine until I retrieved the cardboard box from the recycling and put it back where he wanted it. I am not sure if Newbie misses Cindy. I know that she doesn't miss him.
I guess that's it for tonight, folks. You have a good one, and I'll see you tomorrow. No point in missing me. It won't be that long.
