Post 2214 - Sunday

The storm hit us over night.  I have stayed in all day to avoid the elements.  Tomorrow I will have no choice but to shovel the driveway out.  Patricia plans to take the bus tomorrow.

It will be the last day of 2012 tomorrow.  At least here it will be.  Maybe in your neck of the woods, it won't be.  I promised Patricia that I would make dinner for us on Monday.   We plan to stay in tomorrow night while others go out and freeze their asses off at the Grand Parade and bring in the new year.

Slept in this morning.  Took a long, long nap this afternoon.  It's a great way to use up the last few days of my vacation.  I return to work on Wednesday the 2nd.

What else is going on?  Patricia keeps finding Christmas presents for me.  She buys them through the year and stashes them away.  From time to time, she forgets about one.  I am just grateful that she doesn't buy me anything edible.

I decided to freecycle one of my digital cameras today.  It is a pentax thing that guzzles batteries like they're going out of style.  I use rechargeables, but the new owner will have to buy the best quality ones he can.  I can't wait to be rid of it.  The camera has been more trouble than it was worth.

Newbie has been surprisingly standoffish today.  He will get close to me and then run off and play with Cindy.  I am the Puff the Magic Dragon to his little Jackie Paper when the latter stopped playing with the former and discovered girls.  Or died.  Nobody is sure.

I guess I will retreat into my cave and cease my fearless roar.  Sniff!

See you tomorrow.
