It's late at night. I've had a long day taking my mom shopping and doing stuff around the house and sleeping.
The old tv I got for free a few months ago rests on a tv stand I got for 20 bucks. The tv has a built-in vcr. Much to my surprise it works very well. I got rid of nearly all of my vhs tapes last year but kept a small percentage. They're mostly genre films. I figure I'll never have movie channels here at my mother's. Or netflix, or an internet connection, so I keep a supply of dvd's and vhs tapes here.
Tonight I watched "Enemy of the State", starring Will Smith and Gene Hackman. As cutting edge as the tech was when it came out 15 years ago, I have to wonder how cool it would be today.
Newbie watched the movie with me as well. I don't think he liked it that much. His loss. A cat has a supporting role in this movie, and I think Newbie was jealous. You can see for yourself.
See you tomorrow.
