First of all, happy 2800th post, everyone.
My goodness, when I began Bevboy's Blog not quite 7 years ago, I had no idea that it would have lasted this long, let alone that I would have reached even 1400 posts. When I hit #500, I was amazed. 1000? Wow. Now, here I am closer to post 3000 than ever before, and I see no end point.
Was a good day. The highlight was probably when I got home this evening and got a FB message from Ed Shaw, weekend announcer at K-Rock in the Valley. He finally got the current issue of Frank and saw my shout out to him. He was very grateful for that. He is welcome. I have a lot of respect for him and his talent, and I hope that he is able to work his way into a full-time on air radio gig, sooner rather than later. He deserves it.
The lowlight, I guess, was after work today when we went to the cat hospital to pick up Cindy's ashes. It brought back sad memories for both of us. But at least now Patricia (and I) have the box containing her remains. We still miss her like crazy but now she will always be with us.
The weekend is here, and I look forward to Nocturne tomorrow night, as long as it isn't raining or anything.
You guys have a good night. I will see you tomorrow.
