Sorry I didn't write the last couple of days. I had spotty-at-best internet coverage, mostly from my smartphone, which is pretty old.
Friday was about getting the new appliances and finding a way to get rid of the old ones. Saturday, we got rid of them, and then drove to Tatamagouche for the Farmer's Market. Turns out that there was a bad person at the farmer's market who drove away other vendors and customers ("if you don't want to pay that much for my tomatoes, grow your own!", he told one elderly woman). We had some coffee and some baked goods and returned to the cottage.
I spent a few hours Saturday afternoon mowing the lawn. I got about 95% of it done; it wasn't until I was nearly out of gas that I called it a day.
Today we lay like broccoli and watched a couple of movies and tv shows. Same thing as last night, watching some episodes of season 10 of "Supernatural". Makes such a difference to be able to watch the show in HD at the cottage. Even a low-end sound bar like the one I keep down there makes a huge difference in the sound quality.
All too soon, dammit, we had to return to the city, so we piled in our cars and drove back, during a near monsoon. We got back here safely, though, and after a shower and having seen the season finale of "Orphan Black" (a tad confusing and disappointing), I am ready to turn in and prepare for another week of work. A busy day there, as well.
Guess I will turn in.
