About an hour ago, we came back from the Company House on Gottingen Street, where we helped Tim Bousquet celebrate the first birthday of The Halifax Examiner. Even if you do not live around here, you can get some good information and wicked commentary from Tim that would make you wish you did live here.
Patricia and I both met Graham Steele. He knew me by my Frank column, and my Bevboy avatar, which he asked me the origin of. He kindly posed for pictures with both of us. He promised to use the phrase "Buzzword Bingo" the next time he discusses the Ivany Report on either CBC radio or television. Let's all actualize holistically, people!!
And I spoke with Tim for a few minutes as well. He looks well, if a bit tired. I think he needs another vacation, toot sweet.
All too soon, it was time for us to leave so that Patricia could go to her Pilates class. We both wish we could have stayed a bit longer.
Tim, I hope that the Halifax Examiner has many more years ahead of her.
