Post 3495 - Thursday

Past 10pm.

Another snowstorm over night. The drive in to work this morning was an adventure to say the least. Even with snow tires and the anti skid feature the Soul has, I was slip sliding away.

I had breakfast at the Burger King on Young Street. The parking lot there is huge, and they were using it to store snow. Here is what it looked like at around 7:45 this morning:

Yeah, that's the Soul in the foreground. I can only imagine how much larger the pile got throughout the day.

Lots of people couldn't make it in today. Their roads were impassable or their driveways were too full of the wet stuff, or whatever. Let's just say I didn't have to take a number when I went into the men's room today. Nice.

Patricia stayed home today. I got a few groceries after work and drove home and made dinner. Haddock again. This time, the package was small enough that we ate nearly all of it for dinner. Side salad and veggies and Cavendish fries. Brownies with frozen yogurt for dessert. We have been waddling around the house ever since. If I were just a few years older, I'd probably have spent the evening passing gas, so I am glad I am not there just yet.

Tomorrow is my earned day off. Monday is the February holiday. So, I get two, four day weekends in a row. A fella could get used to that.

I think I will turn in.

See you tomorrow.
