Off for the next three days! Yes. In your face, Flanders.
You will be pleased to know that I did most of the dishes this evening. We no longer have to take forks, clean them off, and eat with them. The supply of such cutlery is freshly washed and put away. If I had not washed them, Patricia was threatening to break into a few houses down the street and steal some of the forks there. I have turned her away from a life of crime. Will I get any respect or appreciation for it? No. No, I won't.
We had a barbecue at work today. A fund-raising thing. I over ate. Bought an extra sausage as Patricia had Pilates after work so I thought I'd save that sausage and some of the potato salad and consume them both after 4:30. I did that, but that, along with everything else I ate at lunch, means that I am stuffed, and it is past 10:30. I am not sure if I will be able to sleep this evening. I will try, shortly.
Tomorrow, we are taking four large garbage bags full of clothes we no longer want and taking them to a thrift store. Not Value Village. They take what people donate and sell it at high prices. Outrageous prices, sometimes. Another thrift store we have come to like quite a bit that charges reasonable prices for stuff.
From there we have other plans, but I will not tell you about them until after they are over.
I think I will turn in. Lots of stuff to do on Friday.
See you then.
