Post 3605 - What? A Blog Post Two Days In A Row? Go On With Your Bad Self!

The post title pretty much says it all. I am writing a blog post two days in a row. I have missed many days lately. I feel terrible about it. Sick to my stomach. Like, projectile vomiting time. You know, the way girls acted toward me when I was growing up.

How was your day? A regular day at work was nearly a vacation after the last few days. Crazy busy.

My latest Frank Magazine article is up. Now that it is, I will tease you with a bit of the story. It is about the 1986 murder of Ann Marie Masson, who was found dead in a rooming house on Robie Street in Halifax. There are plenty of twists and turns with this tale. She died at age 27, and was a mother of four. I was lucky enough to speak to all four of her children last week. I spoke with one of them, Thursday evening, which made the sidebar article very nearly late.

I haven't seen the online issue yet, so I can't tell you just how long the article is, but there is enough wordage there to justify two pages, without any pictures. With pics, it probably runs two and a half pages, maybe even three. Why don't you go to a store that carries Frank Magazine, come Wednesday morning, and find out for yourself? Then, we will both know. Sound like a plan?

I have begun some tentative work on my next cold case article. They are not easy to research, or write. I am not sure what piece will shake out next. I work on several articles, at the same time, until one case starts to lead the pack, shall we say.

I am still loving my model M keyboard. I feel sorry for you who have to use traditional keyboards, like the lousy stinking ones that came with whatever computer you bought recently. These mechanical keyboards take me back 30 years. What a joy to type on them. I had forgotten what I was missing. I wish I had a few more of them. I will keep looking around for them at yard sales and the like. I might get lucky.

I think I will turn in. I have to get to work on my next blog post. Which you will see... tomorrow night!

See you then.
