Post 3650 - Done

I just sent off my latest cold case article to my editor at Frank. I will reveal the subject of the article when it is published, although if you follow me on Facebook, you will likely know.

I never know when these articles are done. I could spend the rest of my life re-wording this and revising that, but at some point, you just have to go with your gut and send it in.

And it is only 10:30. Back in my Toastmaster days, when a meeting fell on the night of a deadline, I would have to go to the meeting, get home at 8 or so, and proceed to spend at least a couple of hours here in my home office. This is positively leisurely.

Speaking of Toastmasters, I am coming up on two months since our final meeting. I still haven't decided if I am going to return to it again some day or not, but I have to admit to you, and to myself, that I really don't miss it that much. I miss certain aspects of the meetings, but I don't miss the BS administrivia or the sometimes less-than-kind direction of a few of the higher ups at Toastmasters. I think I will be taking at least 2018 off from TM, and then look at it again next year. Or not. Depends on whether I find something else to do that's fun and time consuming.

It has been a long day. I think I will turn in.

See you tomorrow, my lovelies.
